Fujitsu appoints Alfee Lee to boost ASEAN growth strategy

Thu, 23rd May 2024

Fujitsu has made significant organisational changes by appointing Alfee Lee to the newly created role of Group Managing Director, Growth Industries for the Asia-Pacific region. Lee's new responsibilities include leading Fujitsu’s strategic initiatives and operations across the ASEAN region, focusing on digital experience and sustainability transformation projects for customers.

The decision reflects Fujitsu's strong growth in the ASEAN region, where the company has been increasingly sought after for technology and business support. Graeme Beardsell, Chief Executive Officer Asia-Pacific at Fujitsu, remarked on Lee’s promotion, noting that it underscores the company's expanding influence. “The promotion of Alfee Lee reflects Fujitsu's strong growth across the ASEAN region, with organisations across all industries increasingly turning to Fujitsu for technology and business support and solutions in digital transformation. Alfee has a strong track record in leading digital initiatives and driving growth in the ASEAN region. His appointment also shows the strong bench strength we have across the region at Fujitsu,” Beardsell stated.

In addition to Alfee Lee's appointment, Ker Yang Tong has been promoted to Chief Technology Officer for the Asia-Pacific region. With nearly a decade of experience in championing sustainability and digital transformation, Tong is expected to play a critical role in advancing Fujitsu's technical and sustainability goals in the region.

These leadership changes demonstrate Fujitsu’s commitment to bolstering its operations in the Asia-Pacific region and reinforcing its role as a key player in digital and sustainability transformations.
