Disprz hits revenue milestone, outlines plans for GenAI expansion

Thu, 17th Apr 2025

Disprz has reported surpassing INR ₹100 crore in annual recurring revenue (ARR) and outlined plans to further expand growth through GenAI-led capabilities and enhanced focus on the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.

The SaaS provider currently operates across India, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East. Disprz serves 500 companies, including major enterprises from the banking, financial services, and insurance (BFSI) sector, as well as digital commerce and retail firms, enabling these organisations to build high-performance teams using tailored capability-building tools.

Subramanian Viswanathan, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Disprz, described the milestone as accomplished through meaningful transformation for clients: "This milestone is more than just a revenue number - it's a testament to how we've helped enterprises across diverse markets in APAC rewire their learning and skilling engines with AI at the core, through deeply localised and industry-relevant solutions."

Viswanathan further addressed the evolving nature of learning and development (L&D), referencing the role of artificial intelligence in driving change. "Traditional L&D, as we know it, comprises skill-assessments, content, and training, delivered on a platform, is going to get disrupted by AI agents and Disprz is leading the way. We're proud to be helping business and HR leaders move from one-size-fits-all learning to skills-based, outcome-driven enablement powered by state-of-the-art Generative AI."

The company has recorded substantial growth in its home market of India. Revenue from India increased by more than 50% over the last year as employers sought to upskill their workforces and align talent strategies with broader business objectives. In response to this demand, Disprz has scaled up its partner network in the region and expanded its teams focused on customer success, implementation, and strategic consulting.

Key product developments at Disprz have included the integration of Generative AI (GenAI) into the learning cycle. This technology is used to automate content creation, provide personalised skilling pathways, and support multi-modal learning adapted for more conversational engagement. The company stated its platform's proprietary learning and skills engine dynamically adapts to individual learners' goals, performance data, and specific contexts. Currently, Disprz is piloting its first L&D agents with selected early adopters.

Shripad Thosar, Head of L&D, Performance & Talent Management at Voltas Limited, commented on the company's partnership with Disprz: "We have partnered with the Disprz platform for over two years in empowering our workforce and the employees of our business partners through seamless training and assessments. The platform's intuitive design provides easy user experience, and their customer support is responsive and very satisfactory. Additionally, their new GenAI authoring tool is very useful for creating our own learning content."

Among recent additions to the platform are AI-generated content, conversational assessment tools, and a flexible skills model aimed at enhancing talent development. The firm is also introducing "Disprz Originals," which are designed as mobile-first, bite-sized skilling materials focused on high-growth roles within a variety of sectors.

Disprz aims to demonstrate measurable business impact through these skilling initiatives, supporting organisations with productivity growth, operational improvements, employee retention, optimised onboarding, and swifter upskilling interventions.

Looking to the future, the company has set a target of reaching INR ₹200 crore ARR by 2028. Disprz plans to achieve this via deeper GenAI integration, regional market expansion, and enhanced ecosystem partnerships, positioning itself for what it describes as the next era of enterprise skilling.
