DeepHealth & TeraRecon unite to advance radiology AI

Today

DeepHealth and TeraRecon have announced a strategic collaboration aimed at integrating capabilities to advance imaging tools and improve workflows in radiology.

The collaboration centres around the integration of DeepHealth's cloud-native Diagnostic Suite with TeraRecon's SaaS-based advanced visualisation capabilities. This integration is designed to create a unified AI-powered diagnostic workspace that enhances radiologist workflows and expands accessibility to advanced diagnostic tools across different healthcare settings. Additionally, DeepHealth's clinical AI solutions are to be incorporated into TeraRecon's AI ecosystem, thereby enhancing its impact within diagnostic imaging.

Jeff Elton, CEO of ConcertAI, stated, "ConcertAI will be aligning its TeraRecon Advanced Visualization and Clinical AI solutions with DeepHealth's AI-enabled operating system to deliver optimized operational and interpretive workflows to radiologists. This two-way collaboration, integrating DeepHealth's clinical AI technology into the TeraRecon AI ecosystem, can provide more radiologists with essential tools to enhance diagnostic efficiency, enabling better patient care."

With mounting imaging volumes, radiology departments are under pressure to manage workloads while maintaining diagnostic accuracy. AI-powered solutions have shown potential to streamline workflows and enhance precision, making the integration of such technologies increasingly essential in the medical imaging sector.

DeepHealth OS is a cloud-native platform designed to provide secure and scalable AI-powered workspaces for radiology teams, aimed at boosting collaboration and efficiency. The Diagnostic Suite offered by DeepHealth OS aims to meet evolving demands through its interoperable and scalable unified diagnostic workspace that smoothly integrates workflows for radiologists.

By incorporating TeraRecon's advanced visualisation technology, DeepHealth OS and the Diagnostic Suite are expected to enhance diagnostic accuracy and efficiency, enabling radiologists to make faster, more informed decisions.

Kees Wesdorp, President and CEO of RadNet's Digital Health division, commented, "At DeepHealth, we are committed to leveraging advanced AI to enhance radiology workflows, elevate the experience of care teams, and improve patient care. Partnering with TeraRecon allows us to integrate industry-leading visualization and clinical AI technology, equipping radiologists with the tools to improve efficiency and reduce variability. This collaboration strengthens DeepHealth OS, driving innovation in medical imaging."

Both companies are also exploring the possibility of integrating several of DeepHealth's AI-powered cancer screening capabilities into TeraRecon's AI ecosystem. This move aims to bolster TeraRecon's AI-powered imaging solutions and make these screening tools more widely available, contributing to a comprehensive cloud-based imaging suite that ranges from diagnosis to research.

This collaboration sets the stage for further engagement between TeraRecon and DeepHealth, as both entities consider additional avenues for integrating AI-driven imaging and workflow automation. By expanding their joint capabilities, they aim to provide radiologists with more seamless diagnostic tools that enhance precision and efficiency, ultimately aiming to improve care delivery for patients.
