CrowdStrike & eSentire expand partnership for AI security boost
CrowdStrike and eSentire have announced an expanded strategic partnership that aims to integrate threat intelligence and power eSentire's 24/7 managed security operations with the AI-native CrowdStrike Falcon cybersecurity platform.
The collaboration will see eSentire doubling down on CrowdStrike's technology to fulfil customer needs for vendor consolidation, replacing point products with a blend of AI-native cybersecurity and round-the-clock Managed Detection and Response (MDR) protection. As part of this effort, eSentire will take over the protection of global Carbon Black accounts.
Kerry Bailey, chief executive officer of eSentire, expressed optimism about this partnership. "Our success in protecting customers who leverage the CrowdStrike platform is a testament to how eSentire continues to put customers first," Bailey said. He highlighted that the combination of eSentire's cutting-edge MDR solution and CrowdStrike's AI-native Falcon cybersecurity platform is a winning formula for their customers. Bailey added, "Our Atlas platform ensures the security outcomes we deliver are truly agnostic, making us adaptable and versatile to support technology migration and choice."
Daniel Bernard, chief business officer at CrowdStrike, also stressed the significance of this partnership. "Together, eSentire and CrowdStrike are taking a bold step to revolutionise cybersecurity for businesses of all sizes," Bernard said. He noted that eSentire had been recognised twice as CrowdStrike's Global Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP) of the Year. He further elaborated, "eSentire's expertise and strategy in migrating customers from legacy point products, such as Carbon Black, to the Falcon platform, underlines the platform's status as the AI consolidation platform of choice."
The enhanced partnership comes at a critical time when the velocity of cyber-attacks is increasing, with breakout times now measured in minutes. This escalating threat landscape leaves security leaders grappling with a cybersecurity skills gap and uncertainty in how to mitigate risks effectively. The consolidation of capabilities between CrowdStrike and eSentire aims to deliver comprehensive intelligence, protection, and value to customers.
The combined expertise of the two companies will offer customers a powerful suite of technologies. This includes CrowdStrike's Falcon platform capabilities in Endpoint Detection and Response, Identity Threat Detection and Response, Intelligence and Threat Hunting, Cloud Security, and Next-Gen SIEM, alongside eSentire's award-winning MDR solution. Expert security practitioners will be on hand to provide investigation and threat response, ensuring that customers receive the managed protection they need to prevent breaches.
Founded in 2001, eSentire protects critical data and applications of over 2000 organisations in more than 80 countries across 35 industries from known and unknown cyber threats. With a focus on Exposure Management, Managed Detection and Response, and Incident Response services, eSentire aims to bolster organisations' cyber resilience and prevent business disruption.
CrowdStrike, a global cybersecurity leader, has been redefining modern security with its advanced cloud-native platform designed to protect critical areas of enterprise risk, including endpoints, cloud workloads, identity, and data.
