Creative ITC hires Lewis Pinner as Chief Revenue Officer
Creative ITC has appointed Lewis Pinner as Chief Revenue Officer as the cloud and managed services provider continues to expand following investment from LDC and the opening of its US headquarters in Houston.
Pinner brings more than 20 years of experience across technology vendors, scale-ups and financial services. He has held senior roles at Cisco, JP Morgan Chase, Pure Storage, NetApp and Verkada.
He will oversee sales, technical pre-sales and marketing, with responsibility for winning new customers and increasing adoption of Creative ITC's cloud services among existing clients.
Creative ITC provides cloud and managed services for organisations with complex design, engineering and business-critical IT requirements. Its customers include companies in architecture, engineering, infrastructure, energy and technology, and its services support workloads such as BIM, 3D applications, secure cloud desktops and distributed teams.
The appointment comes as the company builds on recent growth initiatives. LDC backed the business in 2024, and Creative ITC has also established a base in Houston as part of its push into the US market.
Pinner's remit combines end-to-end go-to-market oversight with responsibility for commercial growth across both existing and prospective customers.
Keith Ali, Chief Executive of Creative ITC, said the hire marked the next phase of the company's growth.
"This appointment is a new milestone in Creative's growth journey," Ali said. "Lewis is known for his strategic clarity, energy and ability to simplify complexity to drive commercial results. With such a rich industry pedigree, I couldn't be more pleased to have him on board to drive the business forward."
Creative ITC has built its business around sectors with demanding technical and operational requirements, providing managed cloud environments for design-heavy and engineering-led work, as well as secure and resilient infrastructure for business-critical systems.
Its customers include Populous, Zaha Hadid Architects, Foster + Partners, WSP, Chicago Bridge & Iron, Triumph Motorcycles and Vertex Energy, reflecting a mix of architecture studios, engineering consultancies, infrastructure groups and industrial businesses.
Commercial focus
The creation of a Chief Revenue Officer role signals a tighter focus on bringing sales, technical pre-sales and marketing together under one executive.
Creative ITC operates in a competitive market for cloud, managed infrastructure and digital workspace services. It has positioned itself around clients in architecture, engineering, construction and energy, where users often rely on specialist applications and graphics-intensive workloads.
Pinner said that sector focus was a key part of the company's appeal.
"It's a really exciting time to be joining an ambitious, focused business with market-leading technical expertise and strong team culture," he said. "In a crowded marketplace of generalist technology providers, Creative has established itself as the leading cloud services provider for the AEC and energy industries - some of the world's most demanding environments. I'm very much looking forward to accelerating our international growth and taking the business to the next level."
The appointment gives Creative ITC a senior commercial leader with experience across both large established vendors and newer technology businesses. It also comes as suppliers serving architecture, engineering and energy clients seek to differentiate through industry specialisation rather than broad infrastructure offerings.
With operations expanding beyond the UK and private equity backing already in place, the company is adding commercial leadership as it looks to deepen existing customer relationships and broaden its reach in international markets.
