Cloud HM & NetApp partner to boost Thai digital economy
Cloud HM, a multi-cloud services provider in Thailand, is integrating NetApp's AFF C-Series all-flash storage solutions and data services into its hybrid cloud offerings for Thai businesses. This partnership aligns with Thailand's national goals as laid out in its Cloud First Policy and National Digital Blueprint initiative.
The Thai government aims to position the country as a regional cloud hub and substantially increase cloud infrastructure adoption in public services. Concurrently, the National Digital Blueprint aims to drive digital transformation among enterprises and grow the digital economy to constitute 50% of the national GDP by 2030. Businesses in Thailand require advanced IT and robust data infrastructure to stay competitive in this evolving digital economy.
Unnop Wadithee, Country Manager for NetApp in Thailand, said, "In today's uncertain economic climate, organisations are looking at ways to trim operational costs while maximising output and efficiency. NetApp's intelligent data infrastructure, which includes its unified data storage solutions spanning across on-premises and cloud, is a compelling proposition for business transformation. I am delighted they can form the backbone of Cloud HM's drive to help Thai businesses modernise their data centres and adopt hybrid cloud."
NetApp's AFF C-Series, a unified capacity flash storage offering, provides flash performance while being cost-effective and efficient. This leads to a lower total cost of ownership and a smaller storage footprint. The capacity flash arrays come with NetApp ONTAP One, an all-in-one software suite, marking an industry-leading offering in terms of functionality.
The inclusion of NetApp solutions also aims to bolster Thai businesses' cyber resilience. With the evolving cyber threat landscape, secure data storage and protection against ransomware are critical. The AFF C-Series is equipped with strong data security features, ensuring the availability and protection of important data.
Na-pajra Umpudh, Chief Executive Officer at Cloud HM, stated, "We have seen an incredibly innovative and resilient spirit among Thai enterprises in a fast-evolving digital economy. One of the top concerns that we have heard from our customers as they gear up for the hyper-competitive digital economy is the need for cost-effective, flexible, and future-proof storage solutions. NetApp's flash storage solutions will enable us to provide our hybrid cloud customers with not only cost savings but also shorter time to market and higher operational efficiency."
Both companies believe that this partnership will significantly contribute to Thailand's technological advancement and economic growth. The aim is to provide Thai businesses with the tools needed to modernise their data centres and embrace hybrid cloud solutions, ultimately making them more agile and competitive in the digital economy.
The collaboration comes at a crucial time when businesses are looking for ways to enhance efficiency and security while managing operational costs amid economic uncertainties. By leveraging advanced storage solutions, Cloud HM seeks to help enterprises navigate these challenges more effectively.
This move supports broader national initiatives to transform Thailand into a key player in the global digital landscape, promoting greater digitalisation across public and private sectors.
