Centuria and ResetData have expanded their AI and digital infrastructure pipeline beyond 250MW, adding a new debt facility and further data centre and power arrangements.

The companies have signed a Master Services Agreement with CDC Data Centres for an initial 7MW allocation, along with a Letter of Intent for a possible increase to 10MW. GPUs have already been ordered for part of the initial CDC deployment.

They have also secured 72MW of dedicated power generation units for Centuria data centre developments. The arrangement could shorten deployment timelines by about two years and create a pathway for additional customer deployments within Centuria data centres from early 2028.

Macquarie Bank has provided a bridge between infrastructure demand and equipment procurement through an AUD $165 million senior GPU financing facility. The funding sits alongside ResetData's existing financing arrangement with Dell Financial Services and is intended to support staged NVIDIA GPU procurement across Centuria-owned and third-party sites.

Centuria recently completed an AUD $300 million equity raising. Those proceeds are expected to help cover deployment-related costs and support obligations tied to project financing arrangements.

Capacity build-out

Part of the near-term expansion centres on about 10MW of capacity within a Centuria data centre, with potential to bring forward up to another 20MW. Centuria and ResetData are also discussing further deployment opportunities and power capacity with third-party data centre operators.

The CDC agreement gives ResetData immediate capacity to place equipment while it develops its broader footprint. Under the Letter of Intent, the additional 3MW will remain reserved for a limited period while the parties negotiate a binding order form.

The companies also disclosed a Memorandum of Understanding with an investment-grade customer for the potential staged procurement of about 2MW in Centuria-owned data centre facilities. The arrangement is non-binding and remains subject to commercial agreements.

Customer enquiries are running ahead of ResetData's near-term sovereign AI compute capacity. Several opportunities are progressing simultaneously through commercial, technical and contracting discussions.

Revenue from the initial CDC deployment is expected to begin in the second half of the 2027 financial year. Centuria said customer revenue commencement remains on track for the same period.

Funding push

The latest financing package comes as operators race to secure power, space and advanced chips for AI workloads across the Asia-Pacific region. GPU procurement has become a key pressure point for developers because access to equipment often depends on securing both finance and suitable data centre capacity.

John McBain and Jason Huljich, Joint Chief Executive Officers, Centuria, said, "Today's announcement marks significant progress since Centuria and ResetData announced our AI and digital infrastructure growth initiatives as part of an equity raise in June. Macquarie's facility, together with Centuria's recently completed $300 million equity raise, enhances the Group's flexibility to fund growth and respond to customer demand and deployment opportunities."

Macquarie described the loan as part of a broader rise in regional demand for AI infrastructure.

"As demand for AI compute continues to accelerate across the APAC region, access to scalable GPU infrastructure is becoming increasingly important. We are pleased to provide this debt facility to ResetData and Centuria, leveraging our global expertise in GPU financing to help enable the deployment of critical AI and cloud infrastructure across the region," said Julian Liddy, Executive Director in Macquarie's Specialised and Asset Finance division, part of Macquarie Group's Commodities and Global Markets business.

Customer demand

ResetData has also ordered the remaining GPUs required for AI-F1 Stage 2 after completing deployment of its initial infrastructure. Multiple customer opportunities are progressing in parallel as the company works to complete that build-out.

Financing for AI-F1 remains in place through Dell Financial Services, backed by a Centuria parent company guarantee. The Macquarie facility adds another source of funding as the companies seek to match customer demand with available infrastructure.

Bass Salah and Marcel Zalloua, Joint Chief Executive Officers, ResetData, said, "Customer demand continues to build. The key challenge is bringing together power, data centre capacity, GPUs and funding within customer timeframes. The outcomes announced today materially improve ResetData's ability to convert existing customer opportunities into contracted deployments."

Centuria manages more than AUD $22 billion in assets, giving it a larger balance-sheet platform than many specialist digital infrastructure developers in Australia. Its 50% interest in ResetData links that capital base to a market where demand for AI compute is growing faster than the supply of power, data halls and advanced chips.

Customer enquiries continue to exceed near-term deployment capacity.
