Capella Taipei opens with innovative Aiello AI technology
Capella Taipei, the inaugural property of Capella Hotels & Resorts in Taiwan, has opened its doors and introduced Aiello's AI technology within its premises.
Each of the 86 rooms and suites at Capella Taipei is equipped with the Aiello Voice Assistant (AVA), marking a collaboration between the hotel and Aiello to enhance guest experiences through AI. Aiello's involvement with Capella Taipei reflects both organisations' focus on integrating advanced technology into luxury hospitality settings.
The Aiello Voice Assistant provides 24/7 concierge services, allowing guests to interact with their environment using voice commands. This includes adjusting room settings such as lighting and television controls, and accessing tailored recommendations for exploring Taipei.
Dennis Laubenstein, General Manager of Capella Taipei, said, "Aiello Voice Assistant's multilingual capabilities and round-the-clock service provide guests with an instant, personalised experience, perfectly aligning with the core value of Capella Hotels and Resorts." He added that this system allows the hotel staff to "focus on providing unparalleled service and fostering unforgettable moments for our guests."
AVA's integration with key hotel management systems such as the Property Management System (PMS) and Task Management System (TMS) is designed to optimise operations by automating guest requests. This technology's digital transformation supports the global trend of AI and data-driven solutions in the hospitality industry, particularly as workforce shortages continue to be a challenge.
Additionally, Aiello has launched Aiello GuestWeb, a digital concierge service that supports 58 languages. This service allows travellers to access hotel services and personalised recommendations via a mobile-friendly web portal. It aims to reduce the volume of customer service calls and increase revenue from service orders.
Aiello's CEO and Co-founder, Vic Shen, commented on the technological advancement: "We've developed a tailored AI-driven data solution for hotels, empowering operational teams with precise insights into guest behaviour and preferences. This enables them to refine strategies and boost revenue growth."
AielloOne, the company's comprehensive management platform, supports these capabilities, offering integration across guest experiences from pre-arrival to post-checkout. "We are paving the way for a more efficient and competitive future in the hospitality industry," Shen stated.
With Aiello's technology in place, Capella Taipei sets a precedent for future upscale hotel initiatives with AI-driven guest interactions. Aiello's broader strategy is to expand globally and continue its work to advance intelligent hospitality solutions.
