Bugcrowd attains global CREST accreditation for services

Today

Bugcrowd has achieved global CREST accreditation, allowing it to offer CREST-accredited penetration testing services across several regions, including the United States, Australia, and Singapore.

This achievement signifies Bugcrowd's commitment to maintaining high standards in cybersecurity practices as it expands its services worldwide.

Following CREST accreditation for its EMEA operations in 2022, it represents a significant step in Bugcrowd's strategic global expansion. In particular, the Singapore Cybersecurity Agency (CSA) Penetration Testing License further strengthens its position in the Asia-Pacific region. This accreditation is designed to assure clients of the technical proficiency, ethical practices, and quality assurance of Bugcrowd's cybersecurity services.

Julian Brownlow Davies, Global Vice President of Advanced Services at Bugcrowd, commented on the accreditation, stating, "This global accreditation is a significant achievement for Bugcrowd. It not only validates the excellence of our penetration testing services, but also reinforces our commitment to providing trusted and reliable cybersecurity solutions globally. We're excited to bring our unique, crowdsourced approach to more organizations around the world, helping them stay ahead of emerging threats."

The CREST accreditation is recognised internationally and sets the benchmark for quality in the cybersecurity industry. Achieving this accreditation signifies that Bugcrowd meets stringent standards, comprising technical proficiency, adherence to ethical practices, and a commitment to continual improvement and operational excellence.

Bugcrowd's unique crowdsourced model leverages a global network of security researchers, enabling it to identify vulnerabilities swiftly and effectively.

This approach amplifies its penetration testing services' distinctive strengths, offering diverse expertise, rapid results, and continuous engagement that adapts to emerging threats. Tailored solutions are also a hallmark of Bugcrowd's services, designed to meet the specific needs and risk profiles of each client.

The firm has provided cybersecurity solutions for over a decade, serving over 1,200 clients such as OpenAI, Google, T-Mobile, and the US Department of Defense's Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office.

Its services include not only penetration-testing-as-a-service but also managed bug bounties, vulnerability disclosure programs (VDPs), and AI Safety and Security products.

The global CREST accreditation and Singapore CSA Penetration Testing License enable Bugcrowd to meet regional compliance requirements, provide localized support, and enhance its ability to serve multinational clients by offering consistent, high-quality services worldwide. These credentials align with local regulations and standards, consider regional threats and cultural nuances, and ensure the firm can effectively support clients across various countries.
