Btech targets Asia-Pacific with managed cloud integration push

Fri, 21st Nov 2025

Boer Technology is expanding its operations into the Asia-Pacific region, aiming to deliver managed cloud and open-source integration services for enterprise clients. The move is designed to help organisations across industries such as finance, telecommunications, manufacturing, and the public sector modernise their IT infrastructure with a focus on security, performance, and cost efficiency.

Cloud sector growth

The global market for cloud infrastructure is growing rapidly. Analysts at Gartner reported that the Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) sector grew by 22.5% in 2024 to reach USD $171.8 billion. Within Asia, demand appears particularly strong, with research firm Mordor Intelligence projecting that Indonesia's cloud market could expand at a 14.60% compound annual growth rate between 2025 and 2030. Such figures reflect a broad dependence on cloud technologies in both private and public sectors.

Regional focus

Btech's entry into new Asia-Pacific markets comes amid rising demand for secure and efficient technology solutions. The company plans to deliver enterprise-grade managed cloud services and open-source integration to help local organisations adopt secure, scalable infrastructure. Its strategy includes providing regionally-tailored support and collaborating with local developers to facilitate knowledge sharing and broader access to open-source solutions.

Btech believes its focus on open-source technology gives clients added flexibility. Open-source solutions are seen as a response to businesses' need for efficiency and adaptability during times of economic uncertainty, enabling organisations of all sizes to manage costs and innovate in IT service delivery.

Open-source advantage

"Btech's presence as a Managed Service Provider and System Integrator is to create an environment where our employees can continuously grow, while also providing meaningful solutions to our clients and the wider community," said Syah Dwi Prihatmoko, CEO, Btech.

The company maintains a policy of engaging with market competitors as potential collaborators, aiming for partnerships that support shared project goals. Btech employs engineers who hold various international certifications, enabling it to compete for and deliver complex projects internationally.

Partnership network

Btech has established partnerships with several global technology suppliers. These include Sivali Cloud Technology, Westcon Comstor, GitLab, Red Hat, SUSE, Tigera, Elastic, CompTIA, and VEXXHOST. Such partnerships strengthen its ability to support diverse client needs in cloud integration and management.

The company currently serves as a subcontractor for a cloud infrastructure project in Vietnam, working under Biznet Gio Cloud, a prominent Indonesian provider. This engagement highlights Btech's growing participation in regional technology projects and its expertise in managed services delivery.

Workforce capacity

Btech is supported by a workforce of more than 100 engineers holding certifications across more than 40 technical areas. The company states that its focus on professional development underpins effective support for customers seeking scalable, compliant, and reliable IT environments. Its aim is to help enterprises adopt solutions that can foster sustainable digital transformation across the Asia-Pacific region.
