Boomi unveils AI Studio to manage & scale AI agents
Boomi has launched Boomi AI Studio, a management solution aimed at aiding enterprises in controlling, orchestrating, and scaling AI agents.
As the use of AI agents rapidly increases, businesses face the risk of security and compliance challenges as well as creating fragmented AI ecosystems.
Boomi AI Studio seeks to address these problems by offering a secure, vendor-agnostic platform to effectively manage AI agents, including those built on Boomi, Amazon Bedrock, and others.
Boomi, which has already deployed over 25,000 AI agents for its customers, has introduced early access to Boomi AI Studio for select organisations, with general availability anticipated in the second quarter of 2025. Ed Macosky, Boomi's Chief Product and Technology Officer, commented on the significance of the launch: "As of today, Boomi has deployed more than 25,000 AI Agents for customers."
"This strong market adoption of our AI agents highlights not only the real value they're delivering, but also the need for a solution that enables organisations to leverage AI responsibly while accelerating innovation and achieving transformative outcomes."
Amit Sinha, President & Co-Founder of WorkSpan, added: "As AI reshapes our business landscape, effective management of these systems becomes essential. Boomi AI Studio delivers precisely what enterprises need to harness AI at scale — comprehensive governance, seamless orchestration, and a robust framework for integrating AI across operations."
"With Boomi's solution, we can confidently deploy and oversee AI agents throughout our ecosystem, ensuring compliance and fuelling innovation while maintaining operational excellence."
Boomi AI Studio offers a range of features designed to assist organisations in developing and managing AI agents. These include Agent Designer for creating AI agents with no-code templates, Agent Control Tower for monitoring and control, and Agent Garden for natural language interaction with AI agents. Additionally, Agent Marketplace provides a hub for accessing and customising AI agents from Boomi and its partners.
Shawn Rogers, CEO of BARC US, highlighted the importance of structured management for agentic AI: "Boomi is addressing a critical gap in the market, setting a standard for managing AI agents at scale. While many vendors focus on releasing new agents, few are tackling the essential challenge of managing, deploying, curating, and optimising these environments effectively."
"The rise of agentic AI presents significant opportunities for automation and efficiency, but organisations require a structured approach to ensure these agents operate securely, ethically, and efficiently. To truly harness the power of AI-driven automation, enterprises need a comprehensive solution that provides the necessary oversight and guardrails to scale with confidence."
Boomi is currently accepting applications from organisations interested in early access to Boomi AI Studio. This phase allows initial users to explore and provide feedback on the solution's features, potentially shaping the final product set for wider release.
