BitHealth & InterSystems Partner to boost digital healthcare in Indonesia

Mon, 23rd Oct 2023
FYI, this story is more than a year old

BitHealth, an innovative digital health service solutions provider, announced its collaboration with InterSystems through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This strategic partnership is set to deliver groundbreaking digital solutions to the Indonesian health sector, aiding in more efficient data management and integration processes.

The enormous challenge faced by Indonesian hospitals in integrating data and managing information often relies on time-consuming manual processes fraught with the risk of human error. With disparate application systems resulting in differing data standards, data is often stored in numerous locations within a hospital environment. This lack of data integration significantly impedes hospital management decision-making processes due to the cumbersome nature of data retrieval.

Yet, since its establishment in 2019, BitHealth's mission has been to empower healthcare service companies to optimize their business and operational processes through the implementation of advanced technology solutions. BitHealth's collaboration with InterSystems - encompassing more than 20 projects backed by over 100 engineers and 15 expert consultants - is a positive step towards improving the quality of patient care and overall healthcare service quality in Indonesia's hospitals.

The collaboration, as part of the government's progressive "SATUSEHAT" programme aiming to integrate disparate healthcare data across various systems and communication protocols, is seen as a significant advancement in Indonesia's healthcare technology evolution.

InterSystems, a creative data technology provider, will centre the partnership agreement on the InterSystems IRIS for Health: Indonesia Edition data platform. This technology used in tandem with BitHealth's healthcare analytics solution portfolio will enable hospitals to gain a holistic view of their operations, saving time in decision-making processes and reaping benefits more promptly than with alternative approaches.

Peter James Rampengan, Chief of Sales and Marketing at BitHealth, stated, "this strategic partnership aims to combine BitHealth's expertise in digital healthcare service solutions with InterSystems technology capabilities to create a data management solution that will empower healthcare providers and ultimately improve the quality of patient care."

Luciano Brustia, Regional Managing Director, Asia Pacific at InterSystems, expressed his excitement to be partnering with BitHealth. He said, "this strategic partnership will allow InterSystems to more rapidly expand the market for InterSystems IRIS for Health and accelerate the digital transformation of the healthcare industry in Indonesia, thereby serving an increased number of healthcare providers."

BitHealth offers a variety of digital solutions for hospitals and other healthcare facilities which can be customized according to client needs. These include Electronic Medical Records (EMR) implementation, AI-Powered Document Management Systems, and Mobile Apps for Patient Experience and Doctor & Nurse Management. They also offer healthcare analytics derived from data management, cloud, and AI.

BitHealth, established in Jakarta in 2019, is a digital healthcare solutions provider and transformation partner specializing in digital healthcare technology. InterSystems, established in 1978, is a leading provider of next-generation solutions for enterprise digital transformations in sectors such as healthcare.
