BDx CGK4 AI Campus gains NVIDIA certification in Indonesia

Today

BDx Data Centres has become the first data centre operator in Indonesia to receive certification through the NVIDIA DGX-Ready Data Centre programme.

The company's 500 MW CGK4 AI Campus, located in Indonesia, is one of the first sites in the country to achieve this certification, providing scalable infrastructure designed for AI and advanced computing workloads.

BDx operates a nationwide portfolio of interconnected colocation facilities and edge sites, which support NVIDIA's accelerated computing for both AI training and inferencing at the network's edge. These sites are intended to help customers build comprehensive AI solutions, facilitate data localisation, and meet the growing capacity and connectivity demands driven by AI-focused innovation.

Mayank Srivastava, Chief Executive Officer of BDx, commented on the development: "AI is fueling a new industrial revolution—one driven by AI factories. The NVIDIA DGX-Ready Data Centre certification is a testament to our capability to deliver state-of-the-art infrastructure to the country. As organisations embrace AI, robust environments optimised for AI infrastructure become critical. BDx aims to achieve NVIDIA certification across our data centres to democratise AI at scale for the Indonesian population and accelerate the nation's journey toward achieving its AI-first goals."

According to the company, the latest achievement also positions BDx Indonesia's CGK4 AI Campus as Indonesia's first renewable-powered AI data centre park, reflecting a focus on integrating sustainability with advanced technology development. BDx states that its approach includes the use of direct-to-chip liquid cooling at scale, a first for the market in Indonesia, with the intention of supporting high-density, energy-efficient AI computing.

The certification is designed to help organisations access high-performance and sustainable infrastructure necessary for scaling up AI workloads. Tony Paikeday, Senior Director of AI Systems at NVIDIA, said, "Organisations worldwide are racing to deploy AI at scale, but unlocking its full potential demands infrastructure that is both high-performance and sustainable. With the NVIDIA DGX-Ready Data Centre certification, customers in Indonesia can now access advanced AI infrastructure to innovate faster while contributing to the nation's green economy goals."

BDx highlights that its data centre offerings include scalable space, advanced cooling, and high-density power solutions designed to support NVIDIA's latest AI technologies, such as the NVIDIA Grace Blackwell Superchip and the NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra-powered DGX SuperPOD.

As part of the company's longer-term strategy, BDx plans to deploy up to 1G W of data centre capacity in Indonesia. This expansion, according to the company, is aligned with the region's push to meet the requirements of a rapidly growing digital economy and increasing demand for AI-driven applications.

BDx's broader portfolio includes facilities in Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan and China, with a total deployment potential of 750 MW of data centre capacity across the region. The company, which is backed by I Squared Capital, focuses on cloud and carrier-neutral solutions for enterprises and hyperscale customers in high-growth Asian markets.
