Arctic Wolf launches AI security platform in Singapore market

Yesterday

Arctic Wolf has launched its security operations services in Singapore, introducing its AI-powered Aurora Platform to address the region's cybersecurity demands.

The company, whose client base includes more than 10,000 organisations worldwide, has entered the Singaporean market through a partnership with distributor Ingram Micro. The expansion is a key development in Arctic Wolf's ambitions within the Asia-Pacific region, as it seeks to offer businesses in Singapore access to solutions such as Endpoint Security, Managed Detection and Response, Managed Risk, Managed Security Awareness, and Incident Response.

Nick Schneider, President and Chief Executive Officer of Arctic Wolf, commented on the move: "As organisations struggle with the challenges of the modern threat landscape, we continue to see strong customer demand across the globe for the Arctic Wolf Aurora Platform and the positive cybersecurity outcomes it delivers. We are excited to bring our portfolio of Security Operations solutions to the business and channel communities of Singapore and look forward to working with them to help end cyber risk."

The cybersecurity landscape in Singapore is experiencing a range of challenges, including evolving cyber threats, increasing regulatory requirements, and a persistent shortage of skilled cybersecurity professionals. Arctic Wolf seeks to address these issues through its unified, cloud-native platform, which combines AI-driven threat detection and expert support, offering 24/7 monitoring via its global Security Operations Centres.

Arctic Wolf's channel-focused model has led to partnerships with more than 2,000 solution providers globally, a group which now includes Ingram Micro as its preferred distributor in Singapore. Through this partnership, Arctic Wolf aims to help partners deliver value-driven security services, supported by predictable revenue streams and development resources designed to support the expansion of security operations practices.

Eunice Lau, Executive Managing Director for Singapore at Ingram Micro, commented on the new collaboration: "Arctic Wolf and its portfolio of security operations solutions are the ideal fit for our customers looking to improve their security outcomes across the entire cybersecurity framework. Recent high profile security breaches in Singapore have brought security conversations to be front of mind for executives and employees alike across the country. We are proud to be their first distributor in the Singapore region and be able to bring robust security solutions to our clients."

Alongside its expansion announcement, Arctic Wolf has released research from its State of Cybersecurity: 2025 Global Trends Report. The company highlights new threat patterns, ransomware activity, and cybersecurity challenges specific to Singapore. Findings indicate that artificial intelligence now surpasses ransomware as the chief concern for information technology and security leaders in the region, reflecting how organisations are re-evaluating their approaches to cyber risk as technology evolves.

Additional key findings from Arctic Wolf's 2025 Trends Report include the following:

70% of surveyed businesses disclosed a cyber breach in the past year, primarily due to legal requirements, with a further 23% doing so in response to obligations from their insurer or a third party. This suggests a need for regulatory compliance and increased transparency regarding incident disclosure in Singapore.

The report also notes that malware and business email compromise were the most prevalent attack techniques, followed by ransomware and data exfiltration. In addition, every organisation surveyed in Singapore that was affected by ransomware made a ransom payment. Of these, 83% utilised a professional negotiator, which resulted in a reduction of ransom amounts paid in over half of the cases.

Regarding cybersecurity infrastructure, respondents expressed satisfaction with their firewall and Network Traffic Analysis components. However, 57% cited complex implementation as an ongoing challenge, while 33% reported concerns regarding the efficacy of their solutions.

David Hayes, Director APAC at Arctic Wolf, said, "The findings from our 2025 Trends Report make it clear that organisations in Singapore are under growing pressure to advance their cybersecurity maturity. From managing AI-driven risks to navigating breach disclosure and responding to ransomware, businesses need more than just point solutions, they need a partner with the breadth and expertise to drive meaningful outcomes. We're excited to officially launch in Singapore and bring our full portfolio of security operations capabilities to help organisations reduce risk, strengthen resilience, and accelerate their security maturity."

Arctic Wolf will be offering its suite of security operations solutions to Singaporean organisations through its established partner network, with Ingram Micro serving as the inaugural local distributor.
