Appfire launches programme to assist cloud migration
SaaS provider Appfire has introduced the Appfire Cloud Advantage Alliance, a programme aimed at facilitating the transition of Atlassian's Data Center customers to Atlassian Cloud, particularly in complex enterprise settings.
This initiative boasts initial collaboration from partners including catworkx, Deviniti, Eficode, Isos Technology, Praecipio, Seibert Solutions GmbH, and Valiantys. The alliance is positioned to provide comprehensive support to enterprise clients during their migration process.
Participating solution partners in the programme will benefit from direct access to Appfire's product expertise, migration-ready applications, and specific resources designed to expedite cloud adoption for enterprise customers. Priority access to additional resources, co-marketing opportunities, and collaborative support with Appfire are also offered to partners within the programme, promoting their status as experts in cloud migration fields.
Appfire underscores its commitment to empowering enterprises by advocating a methodical, strategic approach to cloud adoption. This endeavour, supported by its seasoned solution partners, aims to guide customers through sophisticated cloud migrations.
Paul Renshaw, Vice President of Atlassian Business at Eficode, stated, "With Appfire's two decades of expertise in the Atlassian ecosystem, joining the Cloud Advantage Alliance allows our customers to unlock the full potential of Atlassian Cloud and reaffirms our collective commitment to enabling enterprise readiness, enhancing operational efficiency and greater strategic agility for organizations worldwide. We're working together to support seamless cloud migrations while driving successful business outcomes at scale."
The Appfire Cloud Advantage Alliance incorporates critical technologies, namely Appfire's Configuration Manager for Jira (CMJ) and Atlassian's Jira Cloud Migration Assistant (JCMA). CMJ is noted for its ability to manage multiple instances and large datasets, enabling both simultaneous and phased transitions while ensuring data integrity by offering change previews and allowing adjustments before and after migration implementation. JCMA supports users in evaluating and preparing their applications and user base for migration scenarios, providing a complementary role to CMJ.
A pilot scheme featuring CMJ has been initiated with the aim of establishing a standardised migration method for Atlassian's largest customers, promoting efficient and strategic cloud adoption.
William Mock, Global Head of Customer Support Services, Enterprise, and Migrations at Atlassian, remarked, "Enterprise migrations aren't one-size-fits-all. We look forward to seeing how Appfire's Cloud Advantage Alliance helps meet the unique needs of our largest customers."
Bob Nicholson, President of Appfire, added, "It's about more than data integrity. It's about giving enterprise teams the structure, confidence, and change management insights to accelerate outcomes and drive meaningful transformation across their Atlassian Cloud environments."
This strategic collaboration between Appfire and its top-tier solution partners underscores a shared dedication to facilitate enterprise cloud migrations effectively and support customers in achieving long-term success.
