Animoca & CryptoSlam unveil Animoca Minds AI agents

Animoca Brands has partnered with CryptoSlam's Ethoswarm to launch Animoca Minds, a service that lets users deploy persistent AI agents without running local servers or managing hardware.

The product is aimed at non-technical users who want access to what the partners call an emerging "agentic economy", where software agents take on ongoing tasks for individuals. Animoca Minds runs agents in the cloud and keeps them available as always-on services rather than single sessions.

Persistent agents

Animoca Minds is built on the Ethoswarm protocol, which focuses on persistent AI "minds" with identity, memory, and cognition. Animoca Minds packages that system as a managed service with a simplified front end.

Users start by "awakening" a personalised agent, which the service then maintains as an ongoing cloud process. The goal is to reduce the engineering work often required for agent deployments, including local infrastructure and command-line configuration.

The service uses a white-label interface with guided agent profiles, rather than asking users to start from a blank command line. Example profiles include a market researcher for industry insights and trends, and a "crypto scout" designed to surface new Web3 applications and protocols.

Interaction centres on natural language. Users can communicate with their agents through email and Telegram, with additional messaging apps planned over time.

Blockchain layer

Blockchain underpins Animoca Minds for identity, economics, and provenance. The interface is designed to abstract away blockchain complexity, which is often a barrier for mainstream users, while allowing agents to engage in on-chain activity through familiar messaging channels.

Ethoswarm founder and CryptoSlam CEO Randy Wasinger said the partnership is intended to make persistent AI agents easier to access without specialised infrastructure.

Animoca strategy

The launch extends Animoca Brands' efforts across Web3 infrastructure and digital asset services. Animoca is known for investments and products spanning blockchain gaming and tokenised assets, and has also backed CryptoSlam, which positions itself as a multi-chain data intelligence platform covering NFTs and broader digital asset markets.

Yat Siu, Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of Animoca Brands, linked AI agents with blockchain-based ownership and settlement. He said familiar channels such as email and messaging could make on-chain actions feel more natural than direct wallet management.

Early access

Animoca Minds is taking early access applications ahead of an initial rollout. Pricing, commercial terms, and a broader roadmap have not been disclosed beyond plans for additional messaging integrations.

CryptoSlam has positioned Ethoswarm alongside its wider data business, including SLAMai, which it describes as a way to turn on-chain and off-chain data into intelligence for both humans and AI agents. The collaboration provides Ethoswarm with a consumer-facing distribution channel through Animoca's ecosystem, while giving Animoca a packaged service built around persistent agents.

Animoca Minds will be released in stages as early access users join the platform.
