Thu, 21st Mar 2024

Agilysys, a global leader in hospitality software solutions and services, has announced the successful roll-out of several cutting-edge hospitality systems at South Korea's primary entertainment-integrated resort destination, the Mohegan INSPIRE Entertainment Resort.

The services provided by Agilysys include Property Management Systems (PMS) and Point-of-Sale (POS) solutions. These solutions manage and optimise operations across the vast resort, which spans almost 500,000 square meters, includes 1,275 rooms, South Korea's first multipurpose 15,000-seat arena, a 20,000 square meter casino intended solely for international visitors, and an outdoor entertainment park where up to 30,000 people can have various experiences.

The resort is conveniently located near Incheon International Airport, only an hour's drive from the centre of Seoul and within a four-hour flight from neighbouring Asian countries. The implementation of Agilysys' state-of-the-art solutions began supporting hotel and food and beverage operations in December 2023 and has now been extended to include both gaming and non-gaming patrons following the casino's opening on February 3.

In addition to the PMS and POS systems, Agilysys' tools for booking, dining reservations, service management, mobile food and beverage ordering, and document imaging are live and support excellent experiences for staff and guests at scale. Solutions for mobile check-in and check-out, as well as to manage loyalty and promotions, are also being deployed.

John Ware, Vice President of Global IT Services and Support for Mohegan, which owns and operates Mohegan INSPIRE resort along with seven other entertainment-integrated resorts in North America, stated, "Agilysys has a proven capability to implement integrated hospitality technology on a grand scale. I expect that these solutions will enable us to understand each guest at an individual level and engage them in a personalised way throughout their stay."

Ramesh Srinivasan, President and CEO of Agilysys, said that the deployment of several solutions at the scale and diversity demanded by Mohegan INSPIRE marks a significant milestone for Agilysys in the Asia-Pacific region. Srinivasan noted, "We are honoured to have Agilysys technology underlying this property's top-notch, high-touch hospitality while also supporting the operational efficiency and revenue-per-guest insights necessary to achieving its mission of Inspiring Worlds, Inspiring People." The CEO also looked forward to continuing to serve INSPIRE Korea as the organisation implements plans for transforming hospitality for global guests.

Mohegan INSPIRE Resort's facilities include a five-star hotel spread across three towers, a multipurpose 15,000-seat arena, a modern water park, exceptional MICE facilities, an outdoor entertainment park for up to 30,000 people, a 20,000 square meter international casino, and commercial facilities combining shopping, dining, and entertainment. Future plans include a 1,000-seat food court, South Korea's most prominent immersive media art exhibition centre, and an indoor children's playground.
