ADLINK wins Gartner Asia-Pacific awards for AI factory
ADLINK has received two awards at the 2025 Gartner Eye On Innovation Awards in the Asia-Pacific region, winning in Advanced Manufacturing and taking runner-up in the Mid-Size Enterprises category.
The programme recognises organisations that apply technology and report measurable business outcomes. Gartner experts and peer voting contribute to the evaluation, according to ADLINK.
ADLINK linked the recognition to its AI Agent Factory offer. The company said it built the offer on its Edge AI Agent Platform. It said the design uses an agentic AI architecture for manufacturing operations.
Manufacturing focus
ADLINK positioned the work against what it described as rising pressure on manufacturers to lift efficiency, quality and profitability. It pointed to high-mix, low-volume production as a driver of operational complexity. It also cited greater product variability as a factor in execution and quality control challenges.
The company said many established factory systems remain reactive and siloed. It said these systems often fail to provide timely insight or preventive action on the shop floor.
ADLINK said it deployed its AI Agent Factory in advanced manufacturing operations. It described the deployment as an attempt to move decision-making closer to real time and to shift responses earlier in the production cycle.
Platform components
ADLINK said the solution runs on its NVIDIA Certified AXE-7400SR Edge AI server. It said it integrates an NVIDIA RTX 6000 Ada Generation GPU. It also uses NVIDIA Omniverse.
ADLINK said the architecture keeps processing at the edge. It said this approach can keep sensitive data private during operations.
The company described a set of specialised agents that it said operate within the system. It said Decision Agents integrate production and inspection data and produce optimisation recommendations. It said AVI agents monitor operator behaviour and product quality. It said these agents flag potential anomalies early.
ADLINK also described Analytics Agents. It said they aggregate manufacturing execution system data, equipment data and output data. It said the agents apply large language models and data science methods to identify patterns and root causes.
Operational metrics
ADLINK reported performance changes from deployments in live manufacturing environments. It said product consistency increased from 97.5% to 99%. It said defect inspection time fell by 50%.
The company said issue resolution time shortened from three days to one. It said overall equipment effectiveness increased from 60% to 80%. It said monthly production rose by 20% and linked that to higher order volume.
Gartner Eye On Innovation awards have become a reference point for technology-led projects that report business results, particularly across sector-specific categories such as manufacturing.
"We are deeply honored to receive this recognition from Gartner. This acknowledgment reflects ADLINK's long-term commitment to our in-house R&D capabilities, proprietary AI solutions, and proven execution in advanced manufacturing environments. Through our Edge AI Agent Platform architecture, ADLINK has successfully moved intelligent manufacturing from concept to measurable and repeatable practice. By working closely with ecosystem partners, we are accelerating real-world adoption and extending this validated manufacturing transformation pathway to global customers, delivering higher-quality and more resilient advanced manufacturing processes," said Stephen Huang, President and Chief Operating Officer, ADLINK.
ADLINK said it designs and manufactures edge hardware and software for embedded and distributed computing. It said it serves more than 1,600 customers and sells products such as computer-on-modules, industrial motherboards, edge servers and AI platforms.
The company said it plans to extend the same manufacturing deployment approach to customers in other regions through its ecosystem partnerships.
