Becky Lim appointed Chief Sales Officer at Plaza Premium Group

Plaza Premium Group has promoted Becky Lim to the position of Chief Sales Officer as part of its ongoing focus on global airport hospitality and commercial growth.

Becky Lim has served as Managing Director, Commercial for the past six years, during which time she developed a diverse international client base, implemented commercial frameworks, and oversaw sustained revenue growth for the organisation. Lim, who has more than two decades of international experience in payments, loyalty, and airport hospitality, is expected to bring her strategic and commercial expertise to her new post.

In her role as Chief Sales Officer, Lim will lead the company's global sales operations, managing both local and regional teams. Lim's responsibilities will include pursuing growth in new direct accounts and revenue streams, improving sales strategies and targets across important segments and markets, utilising data insights, and leading the deployment of the Smart Traveller platform across the enterprise. She will also concentrate on boosting sales performance for all new business openings moving forward.

Further duties will involve overseeing product development and bundling, handling pricing and approval processes, and enhancing cross-functional collaboration with various departments, such as marketing, operations, IT, projects, finance, loyalty, brand and transformation, and business development. Lim's remit will also extend to sales for Airport Meet & Greet services, in addition to the traditional focus on Airport Lounge Operations.

Prior to joining Plaza Premium Group, Lim held a series of senior leadership positions at companies including DragonPass Asia Pacific, Visa, American Express International, and DBS Bank. Her international experience spans the United States, United Kingdom, Singapore, and other key markets. Lim holds a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing with High Honours from Michigan State University. She is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.

Lim will now report directly to Jonathan Song, Chief Commercial Officer at Plaza Premium Group. Her expanded responsibilities are expected to influence operational and commercial directions as the company continues its activities in the airport hospitality sector across more than 150 countries and over 600 airports.

The expansion of Lim's remit reflects Plaza Premium Group's plans to refine its sales approach and strengthen integration between departments, with objectives such as leveraging insights from company data, optimising product offerings, and supporting growth across new and existing business areas.
